Sunny Side Of The Doc 2008, which was the nineteenth edition, brought together 1703 professionals, 270 commissioning editors and representatives from 127 television channels. There were 1710 programmes screened in the video library. There were 1299 companies of which 455 exhibitors from 48 countries.
THE FIRST ROMANIAN PARTICIPATION
AT SUNNY SIDE OF THE DOC 2008
With the support of The Romanian Cultural Institute through the „Cantemir“ Programme and The National Center for Cinematography, the DocuMentor Association launched a call to arms. During four days, between June 24th and 27th, the area reserved for Romania at Espace Encan in La Rochelle was full of Romanian authors, producers and representatives from the National Public TV Station, TVR and the National Center for Cinematography. Their names: Andrei Dascalescu, Anca Berlogea, Hanno Hoefer, Razvan Radulescu, Tudor Giurgiu, Gabriel Achim, Alexandru Solomon, Stephane Lucon, Ionut Teianu, Anca Puiu, Alexandru Nanau, Marcian Lazar, Adina Bradeanu, Carmen Stejeroiu, Cipriana Voicu, Claudia Nedelcu and Calin Meda.
