EURODOC is a training program specifically designed for co-producing creative documentaries at the international level. Producing documentaries requires increasingly more funding which is difficult to find at national level whatever the size of the country. Today EURODOC is a strong & influent network, which gathers more than 527 professionals from 42 countries. It has become indispensable in enabling its members to cope with the rapid changes in the documentary sector.
Within a seven month period, 30 independent producers as well as Commissioning Executives from Europe and abroad will have the opportunity to participate in a training cycle of 3 one-week sessions led by experienced tutors and experts who play an important part in the current audiovisual and documentary field.
In 2010, these 3 one-weeks sessions will be:

INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL FILM FESTIVAL SEEKING FOR ENTRIES
Short films and documentaries with environmental and ecological themes can be submitted to Rodos International Films and Visual Arts Festival Ecofilms, which will take place in Greece, from June 23 to 28. Works dealing with conservation issues, as well as issues related to the natural, the human and the built environments are welcome. EX ORIENTE FILM WORKSHOP, DEADLINE 1st of February 2010
Are you working on a creative documentary project, looking for information, consultancy and support for its development, production and distribution in the European market? Submit your proposal for Ex Oriente Film - a year-long international workshop that supports the development and funding of creative documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe. Application deadline: February 1, 2010. At three (or four) workshops that take place in the course of one year, directors and producers develop their projects and funding strategies and benefit from the assistance and valuable advice provided by established European producers, directors, AV experts and commissioning editors. The Ex Oriente Film training programme is completed with the co-production meeting East European Forum that gives documentary filmmakers a chance to pitch their project and secure funding from West European and North American broadcasters.
